A Journey into Specialty Coffee Join us for a guided tasting experience exploring specialty coffees from seven regions, spanning the hills of Meghalaya to the southern landscapes of Kerala. This session invites you to taste and compare distinct varietals and processing methods that define specialty coffee. Through side-by-side tastings, we examine how origin, altitude, and processing choices influence clarity, sweetness, and structure in the cup. The focus is on attention, balance, and understanding—without jargon or rush. The tasting is led by Sauman Suresh, a specialty coffee barista whose work spans brewing and coffee processing. His journey with coffee includes time in Auroville and Thailand, where his approach to flavour, extraction, and quality took shape. Now based in Kerala, Sauman brings a grounded, origin-aware perspective that connects the farm, the process, and the final cup. Alongside the coffees, coffee-inspired food will be served—designed to complement, not compete with, the tasting. Thoughtful pairings that reflect how coffee can extend beyond the cup and onto the table. This experience is suited for those who enjoy coffee and wish to taste with greater intention and clarity.
